From Legacy to Future
Groveway Community Group is a community-rooted nonprofit led by neighbors and advocates who are deeply connected to one of Roswell, Georgia's oldest African American neighborhoods. Guided by the belief that if we can help somebody, we must. For generations, we have worked alongside residents to strengthen people, preserve history, and protect the future of the Groveway community.
Our work is grounded in trust, relationships, and the belief that lasting change happens when a community shows up for itself.
Groveway Community Group isn’t just an organization serving the community — we are part of it.
Founded by residents who understood the needs, challenges, and strengths of Groveway because they lived them, Groveway Community Group has always taken a people-first approach. We listen first, respond thoughtfully, and stay committed for the long term.
For more than 80 years, Groveway Community Group has responded to the evolving needs of the Groveway neighborhood with steady presence and care. Our work strengthens families, invests in youth, honors elders, and preserves the history that defines this community. Each program reflects our belief that lasting change begins at home.
